I am interested in working with you. Does Abound Wealth provide one-time advice or on-going financial planning?

We want to be your financial partner through all stages of your financial life.

We want to be transparent in the fact that we provide ongoing, holistic financial planning.

We’ve tried both hourly and retainer-based models in the past and even though they were still fee-only, they felt very transactional.  We’ve found that we can deliver the most value when we have an in-depth, ongoing relationship rather than a transactional, one-off engagement.

If having an ongoing financial partner sounds like something you’d be interested in, consider filling out our work with us questionnaire so we can get to know a little more about you and if we would be a good fit.

For more insight on how and when to work with a financial advisor we made this Money Guy Show Episode:

If you aren't ready for an ongoing relationship and still feel the need to work with a CFP®, a one-time or retainer-based advisor from the XY Planning Network or NAPFA may be a good resource. All of these databases allow you to search for advisors using your zip code or type of advice and list fee‐only, fiduciary financial planners. However, we still recommend interviewing several to ensure you are working with an advisor who aligns with your values and goals. This may be a great way to get a check-up on your finances or find a new ongoing advisor.

Our eight questions to ask a financial advisor is a useful tool. It's a tremendous one-page document designed to help you navigate the conversation as you're getting to know an advisor you might work with and make sure you're hiring a good one!
